Rockhampton Floods
The Alliance Francaise de Rockhampton would like to thank all those people who have
sent messages of support regarding the flooding situation in Rockhampton. Your
messages make a difference and it is wonderful to hear from people not only in Australia
but all over the world offering support.
There has been a surprising amount of interest from overseas concerning the 2011 Rockhampton Flood.
Pascale has been heard and seen in Canada and France. Many journalists have contacted Susan, Pat and Pascale - some in the middle of the night, all looking for a French speaker to talk about the floods.
One Sydneyite who contacted Pat had first heard about the flood on the French news!
